“ Kraken provided coffee to many of the 1000 cyclists who participated in the Cycle NC Coastal Ride weekend, and they did an amazing job despite being called at the last minute due to cancelation by another vendor. They could not have been more gracious and accommodating. The coffee was excellent, as were the baked goodies. So grateful to have a locally owned shop provide an important part of any cycling weekend! ”

“ This place is a gem, and so was the barista inside! I was already excited to try this place, and had some high expectations. But man, they blew my expectations outta the water cannon ball style! The style/atmosphere inside was adorable. They are dog friendly, and let our pups go ham on some pup cups. The barista was extremely sweet and knowledgeable. She took her time with us, didn't make us feel rushed with deciding on a coffee. She was also super ontop of it! I am not sure if she was holding down the fort on her own or not, but she was pumping out good drinks fast. I didn't think the prices were outlandish, and all the drinks were clever as well as delicious! I got the Calico Jack and my friend got their Shrieking Pumpkin. Overall this place is a great stop, I would highly recommend :) ”
“ Very cute local downtown coffee house with a playful and cozy vibe. I got the salty siren latte despite the heat of the day and was very happy with it. Mom got a smoothie and loved it. We even got a couple shirts. It has a lovely sitting area where you could relax and chat or do work. Very nice stop before exploring the area in the morning! It seems to have a ton of fun options to try, I'll be sure to drop back in if we come back to the area. ”

“ This is the best themed coffee house I have been to. The Kraken coffee house epitomizes a nautical vibe. It is such a fun atmosphere! The staff were friendly and helpful. They have a lot of drink options. There are a few baked goods available. There is seating available inside and Outside. Inside there are also some games available. They do have merchandise available for sale that you can see as you wait to orderThere are also crayons for the kiddos. I had an Americano. It was ok. ”

I called and the young lady was very positive and helpful. I was able to purchase via text a gift card and printed it out to take with me in a couple of weeks to surprise her. Perfect solution!!
